This groundbreaking add-on is developed by GoToTags, based in Spokane, Washington. GoToTags has engineered an RFID reader/encoder that seamlessly attaches to the Epson C8000, transforming it into the first color inkjet label printer with integrated RFID encoding.

Until now, RFID and color label printing have lived in two separate worlds. This new solution brings them together—opening the door for industries that need visual identification and smart tracking in a single, on-demand workflow.
With this new configuration, you can now:

We first met the GoToTags team at the Epson ColorWorks meeting in Dallas back in November 2025, and it was immediately clear this was something special. Seeing a true, production-ready RFID encoder designed specifically for the C8000 made us eager for launch day.
